Director’s Report 2025

Our mission of “A prayer, a wish and a dream of a cancer-free world…™” has not changed. Our goal is to beat this deadly disease by funding cutting-edge basic research. Your support has made Christina’s Dream much more than a quiet prayer of a dying child. For the past 18 years, we have united foundations to raise well over 2 million dollars for this fight!

We are excited to support Dr. Vakoc and his team at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) ‘s advancements. The Vakoc Lab has identified potential new drug targets and a possible method of converting cancer cells back into normal cells.

CSHL will host a special sarcoma meeting at its Banbury Center in March 2025. The first meeting was held ten years ago to map a plan to address this deadly cancer. This meeting will report on the substantial research advancements and plan the next phase in the battle to end this pediatric cancer.

CRF is jumping into 2025 with a renewed vision! We hope you will join us and support our efforts to ease the pain of so many children and their families. Their wish is for HOPE, hope for a cure.

We hope you will join us in supporting organizations that ease pain and provide hope. We are planning community events to benefit the Ronald McDonald House and Make-A-Wish.
